The next phase of the Sycamore Trail Pedestrian Overcrossing project is the installation of temporary beams over US-50 for the bridge deck.
This will require a full overnight closure of US-50 through West Sacramento, with the westbound direction closure on the evening of Wednesday, October 18 and the eastbound direction closure on the evening of Thursday, October 19.
The trail will provide a safe pedestrian and bicycle route connecting the north and south neighborhoods of the city.
The project is set to be complete in Summer 2024.
